Last Friday I finished up shopping for our upcoming Christmas Tree. This year we decided to finally do our "A Nightmare Before Christmas" themed Christmas tree. Needless to say, we were all very excited to decorate the tree this year. Even my husband was excited to put up the tree, and that is a task that he usually groans at. I found everything to decorate the tree for under $200, and that is including us buying a new White Christmas tree to put all the decorations on. That is actually pretty epic if you ask me. We already had all of the Jack, Sally, Zero and Scary Teddy dolls and some NMBC figurines to help decorate the Christmas tree. We have been collecting those for many years now. In our family, we are huge fans of anything from "A Nightmare Before Christmas."
I had a really difficult time finding the right kind of ornaments in Black for a great price though. What can I say, except that I am lady who loves a deal and is on a tight budget this year! I went to Hobby Lobby last week to get some round glass ornaments for an upcoming craft/paint project, and found lots of black ornaments that were 50% off in price. Total SCORE! I even found a tree topper for the tree and a few neat ornaments that would look fabulous on the Jack Tree. We got the tree up this past weekend and it looks fabulous. I ordered some more NMBC ornaments from The Disney Store and I am just waiting on them to come in the mail. We will finish up the complete look of the tree and to get some great pictures of it posted pretty quick. I will give you all a teaser pic of the tree though!
Here is the lovely Tree Topper and Jack, sitting on the tree! I love the way it looks with Jack hanging out on the top.
Coming up next will be the Swirly Paint Craft Project and more tree pictures. I needed some more colorful ornaments for our Jack Christmas Tree, so I found this tutorial on my favorite hang out these days called Pinterest.
